Big Car is reserved...
Ok, another detail is checked off of the 'wedding list'
I can breathe a bit easier.. We will have a car when the plane lands in San Fran in May.. so now we can drive to Napa in a car that will be able to haul my 'just in case' luggage. What me overpack? Nah!! I do need clothes for a week without repeats! It isn't like the "Big Red Adventure" which required very little clothing other than jeans, jean shorts, T-shirts etc.
This is the "Event" and or "Simcha" of the season! I do have a reputation to uphold!!
On another check list note, I found good flights for Grandpop Nate, Tracy & Toby, now they just have to like them as much as I do, and then I can book them.. So much to do..So little time to do it..
I know, NO WORRIES, all will fall into place..
Next challange is to get East Coast Tux's measured etc..
Mercury goes into retrograde on March 2nd thru March 25th, so I need to get as much done as possible before then.
Those 3 weeks will be used for 'down time' and sewing for sure! Have a great day!!

Waiting for Winter and hopeful it won't arrive!

So where is Winter?
It is Monday January 30th 8:15 EST, and it is sunny and going to be in the 50's again today. So where is Winter and what have they done with her? Are we just in for a rude awakening for Feb & March? This is the EAST COAST, I have no memory of this kind of warmth and fog in January EVER? I love to watch the SNOW, don't love driving in it, but I think I miss not having those mornings that are too snowy to even get out from under the covers. And those snowball fights.. How long can those new Winter clothes hang in the closet? I know when it comes to Mother Nature, there is no compromise, so stay tuned!

No worries, all is calm, celebration dinner is booked, with lots of fun bells and whistles!!

Everything happens for a reason, we don't always know what that reason is when stuff if happening to us, but I faithfully believe that the reason will eventually present itself and then we will understand.
The weeked of May 19th-21st will be a wonderful weekend of two families coming together. NO WORRIES !! LOL

For I have not only found a dress and shoes for the "Wedding" of Brad & Karin, I have found an awesome dress for my mom, "the Grand Mum" of the wedding party..I may even sleep tonight!!

The countdown continues, 4 months from today is Brad & Karin's wedding day! Somehow that 'countdown clock' on their website used to be cute and clever, now it just seems to be a reminder of how quickly we ALL have to act to accomplish so many details! I know it will all get done and ALL will be wonderful! MAY in NAPA, what could be bad??
